I’m a sucker for BBQ. I actually can’t remember the last time I had some. But recently, my friend invited me to this awesome BBQ place in the city called Mighty Quinn’s. The dimly lit restaurant creates an ambiance that made me feel like I was so cool. Haha. I was so excited to order my food! The way you order your food is most similar to Chipotle, in terms of building your meal. First, you say which meat you want. Then you’re asked what you want on the side and if you want their cole slaw. I ordered a brisket sandwich, fries, cole slaw, and a sweetened mint tea. If you order brisket, you have the option to get it naked (just the brisket) or a sandwich. I’m not sure if the other meats have that option. Some of the sides are fries, sweet potato casserole with maple and pecans, and sweet corn fritters.
The brisket sandwich was perfect. I added Mighty Quinn’s signature BBQ sauce, which was also awesome. The sandwich was good with and without it. I couldn’t lose. I don’t know if I’ve ever had any brisket that yummy. The fries were amazing. They didn’t need sauce, but it was awesome with it. I wasn’t really a fan of the sweetened mint tea. I would’ve liked it more if it was a little sweeter.The service was awesome and fast. The food was awesome. The setting was great.Marjani told me that this place was amazing, and that, it was.
