There’s nothing like trying a new (to you) spot with a friend. I had the pleasure of checking out Tiger Dumplings in Arlington’s Clarendon neighborhood with my former co-worker turned friend recently.

Tiger Dumplings is nestled in an area with a bunch of restaurants and shops. The interior was gorgeous, full of tan with green accents. The playlist had a good variety of Pop and R&B radio hits. The noise level is pretty low. It’s a great place to grab a solid meal with your friends.

WHAT I ORDERED

I already knew what I wanted to order food-wise. (Shout out to the people who always check the menu before going out! I had my eyes set on the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and the Peach Paradise cocktail.

Peach Paradise Cocktail

I love fruity cocktails. Knowing what type of drink I wanted helped me narrow down things a lot. I couldn’t find the cocktail menu online.

The Peach Paradise cocktail was beautifully sweet and fresh. First, the presentation was amazing. The flowers were a great garnish. The color was gorgeous. The cocktail was true to its name. The peach flavor was wonderful.

Braised Beef Noodle Soup

Soup is a year-round dish, and this day was no different. This visit was before the weather cooled down significantly. I was excited to order the Braised Beef Noodle Soup the most.

The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was as flavorful as I had hoped it would be. The vegetables added a nice touch, flavor-wise. The beef was tender. The noodles were great. If you enjoy soup, you’ll love this one!
