Dog Haus Biergarten has been on my list for a while. I’m glad my friend suggested that we go for lunch. We went to the Bethesda, MD location. There are also other locations in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
When you arrive, walk up to the counter to order for dine-in or to go. If you choose to dine in, you choose your own table. It has bench style seating. Online ordering is also available.
Notes:
There are nearby parking garages. I parked in a Montgomery County parking garage. There’s also street parking, but that was hard to find on a Saturday. The noise level was medium. It wasn’t a loud spot at all.

WHAT I ORDERED
All of the hot dogs, burgers, sausages, and chicken sandwiches are hormone- and antibiotic-free. The menu also includes cocktails and beer, burritos, sliders, sides, and ice cream. The cocktail menu has Haus cocktails, frozen cocktails, sparkling cocktails, wine coolers, Haus micheladas, and wine.
Irish Hello
I wasn’t sure if I was ordering a cocktail before arriving and ordered the Irish Hello on a whim. It’s made with Irish whiskey, blackberry, mint, and ginger beer. I love when cocktails include mint.

This was one of the most refreshing cocktails I’ve ever had. Mint and berry is a winning combination in my book. The ginger beer added a beautiful spice element that I enjoyed. The lime garnish was a nice touch. I also loved that it was in a metal cup. I’d absolutely order this cocktail again and highly recommend it.
Cowboy Hot Dog
I ordered the Cowboy Hot Dog. It’s a hot dog topped with cheddar cheese sauce and BBQ sauce. Smoked bacon and crispy onions were sprinkled on top, and the hot dog was served on King’s Hawaiian rolls.

I loved how flavorful this hot dog was, and the various textures worked well here. The toasted Hawaiian rolls, the crispy onions, the smoked bacon…it was amazing. I wish that I had ordered one to go! If you love a good hot dog, I recommend the Cowboy!
WRAP-UP
Dog Haus Biergarten seems to be a popular spot, and I see why. It has a chill vibe that’s great for hanging out with friends. I enjoyed my experience and highly recommend checking it out.
