There’s nothing like craving something and being able to search on your phone to find it nearby. When I started working on the DMV Boba Tea Shops Guide, I had to change my original plan because a shop was closed that day. I used my maps app to find another close boba tea shop and found SmoothieFRESH Bubble Tea.
WHAT I ORDERED
SmoothieFRESH Bubble Tea is true to its name and offers smoothies and teas. It’s inside of BITES Food Court + Bar in Langley Park, MD. It has a list of smoothies has a good mix of fruit smoothies and more dessert-leaning smoothies. The bubble tea list includes Strawberry Kiwi, Classic Milk Tea, and Chili Mango. Toppings include I was in the mood for Thai Iced Tea, so I was happy to see it on the menu.
Thai Iced Tea
Thai Iced Tea is one of my favorite bubble tea drinks. I tried it last year, and it became one of my go-to drinks. It’s made with strong black tea, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and a mix of spices like star anise, cardamom, and tamarind. I ordered a large with classic bubbles. I had no idea the large was going to be this big, but it was great for the rush hour drive home. It cost me about $7-9.
I enjoyed this Thai Iced Tea so much! This drink was sweetened just enough. You usually can’t go wrong with classic boba pearls, and they were perfect for this drink!
CONCLUSION
I loved SmoothieFRESH Bubble Tea a lot. The employees were so friendly and helpful. My order was ready pretty fast. I loved seeing that it was inside a newer food court building, BITES Food Court + Bar, in Langley Park. Their menu has so many interesting options, and I can’t wait to go back and try them!
